How does hair grow or not grow? Explore hair growth cycles, hair breakage vs. loss, the earning signs of male/female pattern baldness, and common scalp disorders. The best barbers notice more!

Lesson 3: Consultation Basics
Spotting warning signs? Learn client intake, symptom review, and assessment techniques with accessible technologies that will level up your services.

Lesson 4: Microscopic Analysis
Enhance that razor sharp eye. Practice trichoscopy hands-on with samples to identify and confirm hair damage and hair loss patterns like a pro.

Meet The Instructor

CAROLINE RUGGIERO, Certified Trichologist (IAT, EBHF)

Caroline is the CEO of Truly You Hair & Scalp Clinic, a Canadian leader in trichology and hair restoration for over 30 years. A Certified Trichologist with more than a decade of clinical experience, she was the first practising Trichologist in Canada.

Trained in England with the International Association of Trichologists (IAT), Caroline is also a graduate of the prestigious, invitation-only Evidence-Based Hair Fellowship under Dr. Jeff Donovan. She holds an Honours Degree from the University of Toronto and advanced training in nutrition and hair microscopy.

Caroline serves on the IAT board, is a regular delegate at the European Hair Research Congress, and is the Founder of Truly You Academy & Consulting—Canada’s leading IAT-accredited trichology education centre.

Known for her evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach, Caroline collaborates with medical and wellness professionals worldwide to deliver effective, science-backed solutions for hair and scalp health.
