The Hair Practitioner’s Certificate Course (HPCC) is a 2 day Intro to Trichology course accredited by the International Association of Trichology (IAT) and instructed by IAT graduate and one of Canada’s leading Trichologists, Caroline Ruggiero. HPCC is designed for individuals associated with hair and related industries who want to expand their expertise in addressing hair loss and scalp disorders for their clients. Students will receive a Hair Practitioner Certification directly from the IAT.
Practical Trichology (Part 1) is a practical application-based course in Trichology offered by the Truly You Academy, a branch of Truly You Hair & Scalp Clinic. Created by Certified Trichologist (IAT) and Truly You Hair & Scalp Clinic CEO, Caroline Ruggiero, this course builds on the theory covered in the HPCC and gives students practical, hands-on experience in trichological assessment and care. The course teaches students how to recognize common hair and scalp disorders, perform a hair and scalp analysis, and recommend appropriate guidance. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Truly You Academy — a Canadian leader in Trichology education.

Practical Trichology is a one-day course by the Truly You Academy designed to compliment the theory based components of the HPCC by providing students with hands-on instructions on how to implement key Trichological practices directly into their business.

Graduate Zoom Workshop: Held approximately one month post-course, this live Zoom session is designed to check in on how you’re doing as you begin implementing Trichology into your practice!
We’ll deepen understanding by expanding on products that support common hair and scalp concerns, discuss real-world application and clinical considerations, and open the floor for Q&A—so you can confidently integrate your Trichology education on the ground, with guidance and support every step of the way.

CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellations made 3o days or more in advance of the course date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days will not be eligible for a refund.
- Each course session must have a minimum of 50% enrolment to proceed. Otherwise, the session will be postponed to a later date. In this case, enrolment fees will be 100% refunded.
