The Hair Practitioner’s Certificate Course (HPCC), offered by the Truly You Academy (Truly You Hair & Scalp Clinic), is a 3-day intensive Trichology course accredited by the International Association of Trichology (IAT) and instructed by IAT graduate and one of Canada’s leading Trichologists, Caroline Ruggiero. HPCC is designed for individuals associated with hair and medical aesthetic industries, either currently practicing or training, who want to expand their expertise and study scalp disorders and hair loss at our Mississauga clinic. Students will receive a Hair Practitioner certification from the International Association of Trichologists.
During this Trichology course you will learn how to better service your clients’ hair and scalp needs by getting to the root of trichological care. Those who study trichology at our Mississauga hair and scalp clinic will get a working knowledge of the chemistry and physiology of the hair and scalp; the chemical processes that lead to scalp ailments and hair breakage; the most common hair loss problems as well as their associated treatments.
Trichology is a fast-growing industry. Hair loss, scaling, itching, and excessive oiliness are just some of the common problems for which more and more people are seeking professional advice and treatment. The Truly You Academy aims to address this distinct need in the market by educating and empowering hair professionals across Canada seeking a hair practitioner certification.

Truly You Academy, Practical Trichology | 1pm-5pm
Practical Trichology is a half-day course by the Truly You Academy designed to compliment the theory based components of the HPCC by providing students with hands-on instructions on how to implement key Trichological practices directly into their business.

Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 14 days will not be eligible for a refund.
